Fire Alarm Requirements
Fire alarm systems and devices sound alarms to notify building occupants to evacuate, saving millions of lives each year. Did you know that only certified technicians can service fire panels? This is why Marleyfire technicians are certified under the Canadian Fire Alarm Association to make sure that all of our customers products and devices are up to Canadian ULC code standards. We recognize that these products are the first line of defence against a fire. This is why we offer 24 hour technician services to our customers seven days a week.
Fire Alarm Inspections
Marleyfire provides monthly to yearly inspections for our customers, insuring their fire alarm panels and devices are performing properly.
During the annual inspections, Marleyfire will perform the following:
Test and inspect the control unit or transponder
Complete a voice communication test
Test and inspect the power supply
Test and inspect the emergency power supply including batteries
Test and inspect all annunciators
Test and inspect all ancillary and auxiliary devices
Test and inspect all devices. This includes but is not limited to pull stations, heat detectors, smoke detectors, bells, horns and strobes.
Though your building may not have a fire panel, it may have devices that are still required to be inspected like smoke alarms. Save your company from paying heavy fines for non-compliance. Let Marleyfire help you keep your facility up to code.
